Risk Assessment

"Under section 19 of the safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act the following is applied: Every employer shall identify the hazards in the place of work under his or her control, assess the risks presented by those hazards and be in possession of a written assessment (to be known and referred to in this Act as a “risk assessment”) of the risks to the safety, health and welfare at work of his or her employees, including the safety, health and welfare of any single employee or group or groups of employees who may be exposed to any unusual or other risks under the relevant statutory provisions"

We ensure that this is achieved by attending the workplace, carrying out an audit and completing the written risk assessment for that company.


Method Statement Service

Method Statements are simply a written explanation of a safe system of work for very hazardous activities and is included in the health and safety plan.

In the preparation of method statements one requires discipline and logic as the steps needed to complete an activity and must be though out fully. Method Statements should be short and concise

Method Statements may consist of the following headings:

• Scope of work
• Detailed description of the task
• Resources required to do the task
• Risks involved in carrying out the task.
• Control measures to minimize the risks involved
• Emergency information
• Training Requirements
• Permits Required
• Personal Protective Equipment.
• Duration of the work.
• Names of personnel on site.
